Vintage Button deux... trois...

Img_0786_5

Bonjour, Je parle francais un peu.

Comment cava?

tres bon!

I am excitingly thrilled to announce that I have officially signed up for my 1st official Swap

A vintage button swap! "The Vintage Button Swap Deux"

Hosted/Created by Sally She is wicked creative in the sense of "less is more". I tremendously admire her  aesthetic design appeal.. Artistic high fives for Sally!

My vintage swap button partner lives in Germany... Enchante Leena! And yes! I know this adds a tremendously new dynamic to our swap encounter ( vintage of course.)  She is a very seasoned swapper and I ecstatic she is my partner.

Of course I have a plethora of thought racing through my mind. What type/what color/what style/what add-on/and or if any notions. What will she like? What, Where, When, How? I think I red or black and then revert back to my own vintage button collection quandaries all over again. Brillant colors are better excluding black in this sense of the statement. Day dreaming about vintage buttons is quite a stress reliever it makes my heart flutter with delight. I am open and gladly accept this during my 9 - 5pm work day.

My very 1st official Swap.  I am pickled red! Think complimentary colors...

Impressed: Today's notion

Img_0569_1_2I had a notion about how tenacious it was of me to try and implant information into/on this blog.

Do I have a history of implanting html language into webpages? NO!

Do I know how to use my Canon Powershot S2 digital camera? Um somewhat.

So what have a I learned in this process.

  • I have to read my digital camera manual
  • I will learn how to use my digital camera by reading my digital camera manual
  • I love red
  • I love black...And yes! I assert "black" is in fact color.
  • I love red
  • I love birds
  • I love knick knacks ...
  • Everything I learned today is all I need for right now!

So now for knick knacks... I  decided they are everywhere in every shape, size, color, texture, contrast, hue blah blah. and can be found in unimaginable places. And yes! unimaginable places are exactly where the real fun lives...

OK knick knacks (picture)...items purchase from:

::loloko:: A wondeful online shop. I found these unique red/black Japanese Boxes (and there is where I reconfirmed and learned of my passion for red and black!) Also, to go along with my purchase I was given a free gift! A pink wooden bird. And yes! it is in fact a whistle.

Now for the he assorted buttons they were purchased at a not so local Daiso in California. I was definately worth the commute. However if you ask my husband if he actually enjoyed the trip I am sure he will plainly tell you "it was a horrific experience" I do have a inkling however he was not as displeased as he let on. I believe he did make two purchases that day (Sweet/Pouty his attribute of the day).

What a wonderful addition. A second post or posting...
